The copy-milling unit is a manually operated machine for the manufacture of crown & bridge framework made of zirconia.
A composite coping framework is scanned using a stylus and enlarged by a lever arm system (pantographic principle) and milled from a zirconia blank specifically developed for this device.
Any type of preparations can be milled with the Zirkograph 025, that is tangential, shoulder and groove preparations. Furthermore, implant-borne bridges, inlay bridges, 14-unit veneer bridges, continuous beams and individual dental implant prosthesis can be milled with this device.
The milled framework is then dipped in a staining liquid corresponding to the selected shade and then sintered. The coping framework is then ready for porcelain veneering.
